About Me

Hi, My Name Is
Ashande M. Gravenberg

My journey into photography didn’t start with a business plan or a degree in fine arts; it started with a void.
When my son began participating in school sports, I noticed something missing. The school never offered professional images for the parents. There was no way for us to remember the intensity of the game, the joy of the victory, or the camaraderie of the team. I watched these special moments passing by, fading into memory, and I realized that if nobody else was going to capture them, I had to.
So, I went to Best Buy and bought a cheap camera. I figured, "How hard could it be?"
I quickly found out it was much more complicated than I thought.
That cheap camera sparked an obsession.
Within six months, my dining room looked less like a home and more like a camera warehouse. I acquired multiple lenses, lighting equipment, and endless accessories.
I’m fairly certain the delivery drivers knew me by name—my boxes were probably triple the amount of my wife’s Amazon orders. I sacrificed my mind, my body, and my wallet, spending long days and even longer nights educating myself on the craft.
But that sacrifice paid off.
Within my first year, I became the head of sports photography for Linfield Christian School. I wasn't just taking pictures anymore; I was preserving legacies.
Since then, my passion has evolved. I have captured families, babies, teenagers, and everything in between, building my own business into what it is today. I immediately knew my purpose in life: to make sure that each and every one of you feels the same way that I do when you stare at an image twenty years from now and say, "Wow, what a life we've lived!"
Let’s create something beautiful together.
Let’s create a magical moment that we can cement in time—customized into wall art or personalized photo books—to be passed down for generations.
